| MEMBERSHIP
IDENTIFICATION |
All members are required to present a Home Resort
membership card and their affiliation membership card upon check-in. Members without proper
identification will not be accepted at the Hosting Resort. Please be sure you have these
two items prior to your visit. Additional and/or replacement membership cards may be
ordered through Member Services Office for $5.00. In the event that your card has been
lost or stolen and you are on the road, the affiliation can verify your membership with the park
you are scheduled to visit.
There are two major factors that allow members to
access the use of campsites on a drive-up basis. Number one is that all of the resorts are
"Private Member Only" resorts, therefore, you are not competing with the general
public for campsites. Secondly, the license agreement each developer signed with
the Affiliation is
required to set aside a percentage of their campsites to be used only by visiting
affiliate members. These are campsites that the developer can not sell memberships to.
Between the private member only status and the campsites at each resort reserved for
visiting members, resorts are generally available on a drive-up basis. There are
however just under 20% of the resorts that history has proven drive-up availability is not
always that certain. These resorts have been placed on what's known as the "Advanced
Notification Status". This status will be specifically so noted on the directory page
where the map and driving directions are listed. These resorts do want to know when you
are arriving and for how many nights you plan to stay.
Be sure to carefully and completely read all the
reservation information provided.
1) Select a resort you would like to visit
2) Select your arrival and departure dates
3) Have your Affiliation Membership ID number ready
4) Call the affiliations
Central Reservation number listed in the resort travel guide, or visit the
affiliations website for online reservations.
1) Your request for reservations to use the
network of resorts may be made by either using the Central Reservation
800 number or by visiting the affiliations website.
2) Your reservations will be easy if you remember
to plan your trip before contacting the affiliation.
Here are a few points to
remember:
- Consult your Directory for your desired resort
location.
- Note available times, special reservation
requirements and restrictions.
- Choose your arrival and departure dates for each
resort.
- Know the number of adults and children in your
party.
- Have your affiliation identification number ready
-
Pets are permitted in most resorts. Check your
directory for any applicable restrictions.
-
Extended visits, if permitted by the Host Resort
are subject to space availability.
-
Requests for reservations will be accepted only
from members in good standing with their Home Resort and the
affiliations.
-
Resort location maps on each
resort page in the travel directory are provided as a general guide and to highlight points
of interest
